It’s Photo of the Month time. Each month we highlight one of our recent projects with a happy snap from one of our team members on-site.
Last month we showcased a Sunshine Coast residential development that’s getting powered by over 55,000 litres of fuel per month and we’ve previously shown how a dam infrastructure upgrade comes together.
This month’s photo hails from a project located in the East of Melbourne. On this site, the staff used a range of heavy equipment to manoeuvre different types of soil to get screen ready for civil construction, which was then distributed to customers on tipper trucks.
Screening is basically the separation of materials into different sized products. The material is passed through a vibrating screen box with a variety of different sized meshes which the material falls through like a sieve. A screening machine can be used to separate face blasted stone, crushed stone, construction and demolition waste, coal, compost, and in this case, top soil, sand and gravel.
Our team provided an on-site bulk fuel delivery service to keep them running at all times of day or night, which meant that they didn’t have to worry about how they could keep their generators in operation and instead concentrate on the job at hand. Seeing that they used approximately 1,500 litres of diesel a day during the job, that was no small consideration. Of course, the Bulk Fuel Australia team were up to the task and kept things going smoothly.
On-site refuelling is one of the most popular services that Bulk Fuel Australia provide. We work with a trusted fuel supplier to deliver fuel on mini trucks that can get to places that big rigs simply can’t, meaning that no matter where the job is, Bulk Fuel Australia can keep it supplied with fuel.
