Bulk Fuel Australia worked extensively with our Final Filtered Diesel^® filtration partner HYDAC to examine the need for ever-cleaner diesel fuel and test for contaminants in multiple real world situations.

HYDAC have made their mark as a global leader in the field of fluid technologies, including filtration systems. It’s their extensive experience – dating back to 1963 – that led to their development of a system that allowed minute fuel filtration to the micron level while maintaining consistent pressure.

To collect data for the White Paper, we conducted multiple tests over the course of six months at HYDAC’s site at Banyo. Fuel samples were taken before and after passing through the installed filter and measured using the HYDAC FCU1000 inline particle counter for fuel cleanliness.  

The results – shown in detail in the HYDAC Fuel Filter Diesel Fuel Cleanliness Testing White Paper – show how the filtration system further refines contaminates to a level that beats industry standards. With a 50% reduction in particles, Final Filtered Diesel^® Fuel showed a lower particle count than the industry standard ISO 4406.
