Diesel fuel is subject to long storage periods, especially in tanks which may be used infrequently. As a result, solid particles, along with water can exist on the bottom of a fuel tank.

It’s these contaminants that are often the cause of damaged pumps, blocked filters as well as excessive wear and tear on sensitive engine components, which leads to increased costs associated with unscheduled downtime, spare parts and repairs.
