At Bulk Fuel Australia we’re not just about ensuring your business has a reliable supply of quality fuel for your residence or work site, we’re also budding photographers. Every month we celebrate the best photo taken by one of our team members on the job around the country, showcasing the many varied locations our fuel delivery trucks go.
In previous months we’ve featured photos of massive marine installation refuelling, at music festivals or even using drone photography to showcase the services we provide to the agricultural industry. For September we went up north to Hay Point.
The town, just south of Mackay, is home to just over a thousand people but is actually one of the biggest coal ports in the world. It hosts two bulk coal terminals that regularly exports out more than 80 tonnes of coal every year. No surprise, then, that all the equipment needed for such a massive operation would require plenty of fuel to keep them going for each and every shift.
Mining equipment company Delta has the massive task ahead of them to replace the old reclaimers with new ones supplied by Sandvik. Reclaimers are massive machines designed to recover bulk ores from a stockpile into buckets for later processing. The new machines are faster, have greater output and are more energy efficient, but still, require power to run and that’s where Bulk Fuel Australia comes in.
The photo shows the new machines getting ready to be put to work, and a trusty Bulk Fuel Australia fuel delivery truck there to supply fuel at a moment’s notice. Our range of on-site fuel delivery trucks can go anywhere across Australia and supply machinery of all sizes with quality diesel fuel. Talk to Bulk Fuel Australia today to find out more about our on-site refuelling capabilities that can keep your business operating in any location.
