Photo of the Month: New Estate Project in Victoria

This month’s photo of the month is a real beauty, and features something we could do with a lot more of at the moment - rain!
At a new estate project being developed in Clyde, the team are laying down the foundations. Setting up a new residential area requires much more planning than just building some houses and waiting for the fast food retailers and primary schools to turn up.
There’s an extensive network of underground drainage pipes that need to be put into place before any other construction can start, and that’s where the job sits at the time of this photo.
Everything was going according to plan until the rain started. All the freshly-dug soil quickly turned to mud and there were many parts of the estate that were inaccessible to some machines. Some others were essentially stranded on makeshift islands.
However, the show must go on and where there’s heavy machinery, there’s a need to keep them refuelled. Bulk Fuel Australia’s fuel delivery trucks were more than ready for the task at hand.
In these kinds of conditions, we liaise with the equipment operators to determine the best place to refuel. The equipment on this particular site travelled half a kilometre through soft mud to refuel approximately 400 litres of diesel into both the Excavator and Loader.
We know that every worksite has their own unique challenges and our drivers use their wealth of experience to get the best out of their capable refuelling trucks. This means that no matter what the conditions are, there’s a Bulk Fuel Australia fuel delivery truck that can get through them.
