When a fire broke out at a cardboard factory in Hemmant Queensland it made the headlines, as plumes of smoke were seen rising into the sky from kilometres away. While the fire crews made news headlines for their valiant (and lengthy) efforts to put out the flames, not many people know the role Bulk Fuel Australia played to assist – until today.
February’s Photo of the Month is a striking image of a Bulk Fuel Australia on site fuel delivery tanker that came onto the scene to help keep the fire engines going. It’s not just travelling that uses up fuel in a fire truck – they also need to power massive water pumps for hours on end without fail.
It’s imperative that all the fire crews that are on the scene for these big jobs can concentrate on making the scene safe instead of worrying about how long their trucks will hold out.
After a call from the fire service, the Bulk Fuel Australia fuel delivery truck shown here was on the scene quickly to supply diesel fuel to the busy fire crew and had more than enough fuel for the big job.
One of the BFA crew on the scene commented: “There is a small cardboard fire at Hemmant. Don’t worry, the fire brigade now have enough fuel to get them through the night.”
This story just goes to prove that no matter the situation or time of day, the Bulk Fuel Australia team is quick to respond. Talk to the team at Bulk Fuel Australia today to find out how we can keep your company
