Bulk Fuel Australia News

Bringing you the latest news in fuel management systems

Working in remote locations poses many challenges. There are countless infrastructure issues that rear their head during an average day on the worksite, and keeping it running with a reliable source of fuel is a necessity. But what is involved in having the right type of fuel storage solution for your remote workplace.

January 2019’s photo of the month is a little bit different from the other entries in the series. By now we are sure you’re familiar with Bulk Fuel Australia’s proven ability to deliver a dependable supply of diesel fuel to worksites, cars and trucks - but this is a vehicle with more wheels than most.

To keep people from accidentally filling a diesel engine with petroleum, a vehicle comes with a warning label “Diesel Fuel Only.” Despite this, misfuelling a vehicle occurs more often than one would think! The RAA reported 7,500 misfuelling events of people putting petrol into a diesel car per year, costing Australians up to $10 million annually.

Every single day the Bulk Fuel Australia team can be found all around the country, helping keep businesses of all shapes and sizes operating smoothly. There’s no limit to the types of locations our range of refuelling vehicles can get to, and occasionally they find themselves in the most picturesque of places. Every month we put the spotlight one an image taken by a team member while on the job.

At Bulk Fuel Australia we love talking about the wide range of customers that we service all around the country, but why talk when a picture says a thousand words? That’s where our Photo of the Month comes in. Every month we showcase a picture taken by a member of our bulk fuel delivery crew of our reliable diesel fuel supply hardware helping keep our clients running smoothly.

Every day we see a plethora of advertisements and warnings about road and pedestrian safety. There are billboards, advertising campaigns and daily reminders on the news about how dangerous our daily commutes can be, but we also need to be vigilant about safety in the workplace. This is the focus of Safe Work Australia’s National Safe Work Month.

At Bulk Fuel Australia we’re not just about ensuring your business has a reliable supply of quality fuel for your residence or work site, we’re also budding photographers. Every month we celebrate the best photo taken by one of our team members on the job around the country, showcasing the many varied locations our fuel delivery trucks go.

As bulk fuel specialists, we’re interested in all things “bulk” and all things “tankers”. That’s why a day like Bulk Tanker Day makes so much sense to us. The National Bulk Tanker Association is gearing up for another Bulk Tanker Day, which will be held on 30 August at the Sydney Motorsport Park, NSW.

Keeping businesses of all shapes and sizes running smoothly across Australia is only part of the job here at Bulk Fuel Australia. Another part is taking time to recognise the work our fantastic team do every day, and that’s where Photo of the Month comes in. It’s where BFA crew members can also play as shutterbug and show off some great photos.

While marine engines have become increasingly efficient over the past decade, there is still a lot we can do as end users to ensure that existing marine fuel supplies are used as frugally as possible. Not only does this make sense from an environmental point of view, but there are clear economic advantages to this, too.
