This month, our December photo of the month is a bit different. Instead of our usual truck photography, taken of one of our tankers on site, usually in a rugged, remote or complex re-fuelling area, we’re featuring our BFA bulk fuel delivery vehicle at the premises of our Final Filtered Diesel® filtration partner HYDAC, in Banyo, Queensland to participate in their filtration tests.

Originally referred to as TQs (Three Quarter Midgets) way back when the speedway racing scene started gaining traction around Australia, they then became known as Junior Speedcars before their evolution to what we know today as Compact Speedcars. There are now Australian Championship race meetings for Compact Speedcars up and down the eastern seaboard of Australia.

Our friends at Bay and River Cruises in Melbourne managed to catch a quick Bulk Fuel Australia marine refuel in action at the Federation Square wharf recently. Our on-site refuelling services aren’t limited to land, with our go-anywhere DAF tankers able to navigate busy city locations such as the Yarra riverside much more easily than a full-sized fuel tanker.

The Volvo Drivers’ Fuel Challenge competition aims to find the most fuel efficient driver of its FH truck. This year, the winner was Tomáš Horčička from the Czech Republic.
